Case Study - Fuwo

Client Background

Invested by MyHome3D Corporation from the United States, Fuwo is a nationwide interactive internet platform that facilitates equity owners in China to find suitable decoration service providers, with less money and efforts.

On one hand, Fowo’s rich content and thoughtful functions meet the needs of homeowners across the country. On the other hand, it also provides a stage for decoration service providers to build up their reputation and brand.

In only one year, Fuwo network has become the largest online decoration service bidding platform within the country.

The Challenge

Before reaching WPSNET for help, Fuwo put long descriptive paragraphs on its homepage to look more authoritative. However, the wordiness and redundancy just confused those visitors who wanted to find information efficiently. As a result, instead of digging deeper into Fuwo’s contents, they shut down the browser. This resulted in the loss of a large number of potential customers.

After conducting surveys among the visitors, Fuwo realized its disadvantage and chose to outsource the web redesign project to a professional firm. Fuwo liked WPSNET’s high-standard and western style designing, and hoped the redesigning job could rejuvenate the website while highlighting customers’ needs and Fuwo’s quality service on its home page.

Our Solution

Picture Banners. There’s no doubt that the paragraphs on Fuwo’s front page needed to be more concise and vigorous to attract customers’ attention. Staffs from both Fuwo and WPSNET conducted a series of meetings to discuss the key functions and services that should be displayed on the home page. Finally, they reached an agreement to attract the visitors eyes by pictures, just like the picture banners on Zhifubao, a famous e-commerce network.

Process Navigator. Five decoration processes, which serve as individual menus, were put on the picture background. While putting the mouse on each process, semi-transparent sub-topic navigator would spread out. Those process navigators can introduce thoughtful follow-up services to customers and meanwhile impress the first-time visitors with Fuwo's key services.

Fuwo is a community for decoration services and should provide functions focusing on the market demands. WPSNET has put an obvious login for its users. What's more, the arrangement of the modules would change after a user has logged in, displaying exactly what each individual wants to see.

Being more user-friendly and need-based, the redesigned website is well-received by the public and build a solid ground for Fuwo's futher operation.
